With fall seeming to be setting in, we would like to put out a little friendly reminder. With all types of fuel's being used to heat homes, there is always different hazards.
--Starting with wood/coal stoves or fire places make sure your chimney caps are clean and clear from anything from blocking the smoke to get out. Along with cleaning the inside liner from creosote.
--On to gas furnaces making sure the exhaust and fresh air lines are clear from any blockages to allow the CO gas to get out, and for the burner to burn correctly. Also making sure your CO detector is working.
-Electric base board heat, make sure all registers are clean and clear from absolutely everything.
