On Monday 6/23/2025 morning MTFC along with mutual aid company 18,7,4 and Clinton County 13, PVEMS 28 for a dwelling fire the 100 block of West Main Street in Rebersburg. Centre County Dispatch had reports of a Dwelling fire with heavy fire on rear porch of the dwelling and that everyone was out of the residents. Chief 19-3 (D. Auman) was en-route to the station and confirmed a working fire. Moments after that Chief 19 (E. Miller) arrived on scene and established command. Engine 19 responded and pulled 3 attack lines, 2 interior and one exterior. Chief 19 established water supply to En19 with a fire hydrant near by. The fire was quickly knocked down and overhaul had begun. With the heat factor that morning crew operated at the scene for approximant 3 hours. Later in the day crews from company 19 went back for a rekindle on the 2nd floor. Company 18 was dispatched for a Engine and tanker to assist due to high temperatures that day. 2 Adults and 3 children were home at time of the fire and were able to get out safely with there 2 dogs. Fire is ruled accidental. MTFC would like to say thank you to every one in Rebersburg that helped out around the scene both during the fire and the rekindle handing out waters to keep cool and hydrated.
